Synopsis of Scenes
ACT I: On the grounds of Count Arnheim's Chateau
Time: Early Morning
(12 years have elapsed between Acts I & II)
ACT II: Street in Presburg.
Time: Late at Night.
ACT III: Scene I: Fair in the Public Square.
Time: The next day.
Scene II: Count Arnheim's apartment in the Hall of Justice
Time: Immediately afterwards.
ACT IV: A Saloon in the Count's Chateau.
Time: A few nights later.
