Auditions will take place at Actorsingers Hall at 219 Lake Street in Nashua, NH on:
Friday April 14th – 7:00-9:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM to begin learning the dance.
Saturday April 15th – 1:00-4:00 PM, with doors opening at 12:30PM to begin learning the dance.
There will be no Info Night for Firebringer: A Stone Age Musical . Please refer below for any information necessary. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at [email protected] and the team will get back to you.
Auditions:
- On Friday night of auditions, the first group will be seen at 7:00 PM. Doors will open at 6:30 PM to begin learning the dance. On Saturday, the first group will be seen at 1:00 PM, and doors will open at 12:30 PM
- You must be between 13 – 19 years old to audition.
- Please come prepared with a selected cut from the show and 16-32 bars of music in a similar style. An accompanist will be provided. We ask that you come prepared with a copy of sheet music three-hole punched in a binder if you’d like to sing with the accompanist. Please do not plan to sing a cappella.
- No monologue will be required for the acting portion of the audition.
- The dance audition will consist of technical movement in order to determine energy and skill level. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes (and also keeping in mind that it could be hot!)
- Callbacks will be announced upon determination of their necessity
- Audition forms will be provided at the time of audition or can be filled out in advance. Please accompany your form with a copy of your resume. If you’d like to submit your audition form ahead of time, it can be found here.
- If you are unable to audition in person, please submit a video audition to [email protected] by recording your song, as well as a video of you performing the audition dance. All Character songs and dance tutorials can be found here
- Please note that deadlines for online submissions are Saturday April 15 at 4:00PM. Any submissions received late will not be accepted
Rehearsals:
- Rehearsals will be held at Actorsingers Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM-9:30 PM and Sunday afternoon from 1:00PM-5:00PM
- First rehearsal schedule will be e-mailed out upon casting
- Tech week will take place from Sunday July 9 through Friday July 14th and nightly attendance is mandatory
Show Dates:
- Friday July 14th
- Saturday July 15th
- Sunday July 16th followed by Mandatory Strike
