AUDITIONS
Audition dates
- Please fill out the required Audition Form
- Friday October 17 from 6pm - 9pm*
- Saturday October 18 from 2pm - 5pm*
*Arrive 1 hour prior to audition to learn the dance combination
- Callbacks on Sunday October 19 at 6pm
Audition info
Acting
- Sides do not need to be memorized, but be familiar
- Do your homework and be comfortable with your presentation/interpretation of the character(s) you are auditioning for
- Sides:
Music
- Bring sheet music in the correct key
- If using tracks, make sure there are no vocals
- 16-32 bars of a song that highlight your strengths
- Sing something in the style of the show. You may choose a song from Company
Dance
- Wear comfortable clothing and bring water
- There will not be videos of the dance audition prior to auditions
- Come early to auditions to learn the dance combination. Doors open 1 hour prior to auditions
Please fill out and submit the audition form prior to auditioning.
Video auditions
Video auditions will be allowed and must be submitted by Wednesday October 15th.
Please include the following in your video:
- Your name, the part you will be auditioning for and the song you'll be singing.
- For music audition: Follow instructions for in-person audition
- For dance audition: Record a dance piece of your choice that best shows off your abilities
- For acting audition: Please ask a scene partner (off screen) to read with you (on screen)

Robert
The story's protagonist, he is a keen observer who appears happy but holds pain in his heart. He is the only one of his friends still single. Terrified of marriage and fears a lifelong loneliness.

Sarah
Harry's hyper critical wife. She is an avid learner of karate and tends to overeat. Open, accepting, and full of love. Athletic.

Harry
Sarah's husband. He is a recovering alcoholic continually falling off the wagon. Believes the advantages of marriage outweigh the disadvantages.

A delicate southern belle. Peter's wife and ex-wife. Motherly in her affections towards Robert.

A frantic neurotic engaged to Paul but terrified of marriage. After a mental breakdown, she finally realizes that Paul is, in fact, her soulmate.

REHEARSALS
- First rehearsal is Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30pm
- Rehearsals are at Actorsingers Hall
- Rehearsals are on varying days each week, Sun-Wed. See audition form for list of dates.
- Tech week is Sunday, January 4 through Thursday, January 8.
- Strike will happen right after the final performance on Sunday, January 11.
- Conflicts can be communicated in the Audition Form
