In Loving Memory

Nancy Jean Ogrodowczyk
April 17, 1967 – April 16, 1994

“Dance, dance wherever you may be;

dance to the song of love, said she.

And I’ll lead you all wherever you may be;

I’ll lead you all in the dance with me.”

Actorsingers dedicates this production of Into the Woods to the memory
of Nancy Jean Ogrodowczyk (Nancy O.). A member since 1989, Nancy served
on the Board of Directors from 1991 to 1993. On stage for us, Nancy was
the dance captain for Anything Goes in 1989, and starred in the 1991
production of 42nd Street, portraying an exuberant Peggy Saywer. She
possessed wonderful singing, dancing, and acting talents, along with
boundless enthusiasm, energy, charismatic innocence, and grace.
Nancy was a member of the play reading committee that recommended the
selection of Into the Woods. Nancy’s ever-present smile and her selfless
contributions will always be with us. We will miss you, Nancy.

“Sometimes people leave you halfway through the wood. Do not let it
grieve you, no one leaves for good.”
