Junior Actorsingers’ “Hey Ho Pinocchio” Comes

to Collings Auditorium in March

NASHUA, N.H. – The enchanting story of the puppet that wants to become a
“real live boy” will be brought to the stage next month by a cast of 40 area
youngsters.

“Hey Ho Pinocchio,” a whimsical musical based on the beloved children’s
fable, will be performed by the Junior ActorSingers from March 17 through 19
at the Collings Auditorium at Daniel Webster College. The classic tale with
a modern message is about gangs, choosing the wrong friends and, of course,
not telling the truth.

The cast – which includes children ranging in age from 8 to 16 from
Nashua, Hudson and Londonderry, and Tyngsboro, Mass. – has been rehearsing
twice a week since the beginning of January in preparation for the March
production.

Showtimes are set for Friday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 18
at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday, March 19 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $5
each. Advance ticket buyers will be entered into a drawing for a beautiful
marionette of Pinocchio. There will be a total of four marionettes raffled
off, one at each performance. For ticket information, please call
603-888-1253.

“Hey Ho Pinocchio” is directed by David Ducharme and produced by Liz
Ierardi with musical direction by Ginny Corcoran and choreography by Lynn
Wifholm. Assistant Producers are Sue Koczarski and Corinne Hall.
