The Actorsingers is run by a Board of Directors, who meet monthly (on the first Tuesday of every month). All members are welcome to attend the Board meetings. The board consists of five officers and six directors-at-large. The officers consist of a President, a Vice President (with responsibility for the upkeep of Actorsingers Hall), a Treasurer, a Recording Secretary, and a Corresponding Secretary. All terms are for two years, with elections taking place in June at the annual meeting.
The organization is incorporated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations to Actorsingers can be deducted from your taxes (please contact us if you need a receipt). The organizational structure is defined by a set of Bylaws, while the day-to-day aspects of running the organization are covered by a set of Policies & Procedures (referred to as the "P&P").
Valid expenses on behalf of the organization are reimbursed by the Board of Directors by submitting a Reimbursement Form, with receipts. Download the form here:
